This page contains pictures of the southern portion of Route 92, starting at the point where Route 90 takes a right on New Jersey Ave. off Florida Ave. NW. Route 92 continues on Florida Ave. NW and NE to 8^th St. NE, which it turns onto. It goes south on 8^th St. until the Navy Yard gate at 8^th & M St. SE, where it looped around Navy Yard Carhouse.

There are 29 pictures in this series, which cover the line going from north to south. One is provided courtesy of Ken Josephson.

These pictures are a wonderful change from the normal fan pictures, which were three-quarter views of the streetcars. As you can see, these pictures are pretty useless for modeling the streetcars. But they are facsinating as a document of a slice of Washington in 1962, documenting the whole trolley line, not just a few streetcars.

Unfortunately, Hill's camera was in particularly bad form on this photo session, the top part of all of these photos is blurred.
